BC Supreme Court rules trust cheques do not constitute a lawyer’s undertaking ( Case Digest)

The BC Supreme Court ruled in Willson v. Angela Gibson Law Corp., 2008 BCSC 1081that a lawyer’s post-dated trust cheques did not constitute her undertaking to pay the purchase price of a business, but were conditional on the closing funds arriving.
