Do you avoid having difficult conversations with clients?
Do you put off tasks until the deadline is looming?
Do you have one or more dusty files in the office that you simply can't get around to?
The Lawyers Insurance Fund, in a review of the past 15 years, reported the top five causes of claims are:
- engagement (retainer or non-retainer)management failures (20% of claims)
- legal issue failures (25%)
- communication failures (15%)
- oversights (35%)
- no trail (5%)
Procrastination can be a factor in three of these causes - engagement management failures, communications, oversights - which together account for 70% of all sources of claims.
In this session with Coach Allison Wolf, you will learn the root causes of procrastination and will come away with a series of practical strategies you can implement in your practice to reduce procrastination and improve your effectiveness.
Also available is Part I of the series:
