This course will help you to get more strategic about where and how much time you invest in non-billable activities.
Lawyers regularly invest time to develop their:
(1) knowledge and skills;
(2) staff and colleagues;
(3) new and existing clients; and
(4) reputation in the legal and wider communities.
Complete a quick audit of current activities and commitments. Decide which ones continue to serve your career objectives, and which ones might be shed or reduced. Decide which projects truly matter to your practice and/or your professional soul, and deserve a top spot when it comes to investing hours. Get clear on how much you can realistically pursue given your client commitments. Get strategic, and reap greater rewards.
This is the third course in the CLE-TV: Your Time Matters Series.
Also available in this series are:
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1 (a minimum of 1 hour will involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care, and relations, and/or practice management)
