Learning level: Intermediate

During this course, you will be introduced to the fundamental tax reporting obligations in relation to client trust accounts.

At this course, you will:

  • understand the legal framework under which tax reporting by lawyers is required
  • learn when you are required to report
  • identify exemptions to the reporting requirements

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1.5 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1.5 hours pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
