APTN will be broadcasting Indigenous Day Live across Turtle Island on June 17 from The Forks, located on Cree, Oji-Cree, Ojibwe, Dakota and Assiniboine land and the homeland of the Métis Nation (Winnipeg).
Following a day of youth celebrations in person, the two-hour concert beginning at 5:00 p.m. PDT, “hosted by Samian and Jessica Matten, features performances from a variety of artists, including The Halluci Nation, Laura Niquay, Mumu Fresh, Aysanabee, Digging Roots, DJ O Show, Morgan Toney, Silla, The Wild Moccasin Dancers and Miss Sandi Bay & The Rainbow Tornadoes.”
It will also be live-streamed on YouTube and broadcast on participating Indigenous radio stations.
